Want a very rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Retube Kit for the Crate Blue VooDoo 6112 and 6212 Combo Amps. The preamp section uses a Gold Pin ECC82 in V4 for the reverb driver and four Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V5. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ 6L6GC's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's, EL34II's, E34L's, EL34’s, KT77’s, Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Gold Pin ECC82 is located in V4. The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V5 farthest from the input jack.

These are adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. These are available under the "Related Products" tab.

You can use our Generic bias video for reference which we did on a Marshall 800 and the procedure is the same.
