The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in V6 farthest from the input jack.A note about "V" numbers. Bugera decided to use random valve numbers just like Peavey did so the V numbers that are listed on the schematic starting from the first position which is closest to the input jack starts with V5, then V6 etc. The small minority of players who venture into reading the schematics have discovered this and ask why? Good question... They also ask why we refer to the tubes as V1 thru V6 starting with the preamp tube closest to the input jack. The Answer? It's MUCH easier and less time consuming to explain this to a very small number of players than to explain to hundreds if not thousands of players that you count backwards... So we refer to the V numbers as V1 thru V6!If your amp is the combo version and you have chosen to use the JJ 6L6GC's then please let us know in the comments section and we will ship your kit with the special Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge which will greatly reduce any tube rattle. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as EL34’s, KT77's and 6CA7's, we recommend using our EuroDamper rings. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.
