Want a really rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is the Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Bogner ATMA amp. The preamp section uses three Gold Pin ECC83S's with one balanced for the phase inverter in V3. The power section includes a JJ EZ81 Rectifier tube and a matched pair of the JJ Electronic EL84’s.

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes in V3.

These are cathode bias amps with no adjustment. The amount of clean headroom you’ll get from the power section is somewhat dictated by the grade of power tube used. A cooler grade of EL84’s will give you more clean headroom, whereas a warmer grade will give you earlier breakup. If you order online, leave us a note in the comments section letting us know your headroom preference (max headroom, middle of the road or early breakup).
