Want a liquid smooth Metal tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Blackstar Stage 60 Metal Amps. It contains two Gold Pin ECC83S's and a Current Balanced Gold Pin ECC82 for the phase inverter along with a Matched Pair of our special Double Mica JJ 6L6GC's for the power section but you can configure this kit to use the JJ 5881's for a reduction in power by clicking on the "Customize" button.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. The default power tube for this kit are our special Double mica JJ 6L6GC's which all but kill any tube rattle.

If you choose to go with the 5881's and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the Large EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two power tubes. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are adjustable bias. If you don't know the bias procedure you can contact us by email for assistance.
