Blackstar HT5 & HT5R Gold Pin SRV Option

This is our Gold Pin SRV Option for players that want a bit less gain but also want the smoothest richest tone possible. This kit uses a Gold Pin JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain, a Balanced Gold Pin 12BH7A for the power section. Very nice!

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two tubes. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are adjustable bias, if you do not know the bias procedure you can contact us by email for assistance.
