Want the smoothest and richest tone you can get? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Blackstar HT5 and HT5R. It contains a Gold Pin ECC83S for V1 and a Balanced Gold Pin 12BH7A for the power tube.

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two tubes. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are adjustable bias, if you do not know the bias procedure you can contact us by email for assistance.
