This is our Gold Pin SRV Option for players that want the reduced gain but also want a really rich smooth tone. This kit uses a Gold Pin JJ 5751 for V1 which is in-between an ECC81 and an ECC83S in gain and a Balanced Gold Pin ECC82 for the power section. A smooth combination!

Combo amps are very hard on tubes because of vibrations which can cause tube rattle with any brand of tube. If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment or record with your amp you may want to consider using the EuroDamper tube damper rings for the two tubes. These are available in the "Related Products” tab as a set of two and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode biased, there is no bias adjustment to be made.
