Want a very rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Wildcat 40R Amps. It uses six Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter, a Gold Pin EF806 to replace the EF86 in V3 and a GZ34 rectifier tube. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ Electronic E34L's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located closest to the power tubes and the Gold Pin EF806 is the third tube away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode biased so the E34L's, EL34 II's, EL34's, KT77's and 6CA7's are all plug and play.
