Want a very smooth and rich tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Lil 15 Heads and Combo Amps. It uses two Gold Pin ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter and a Gold Pin EF806 to replace the EF86 in V2. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The Balanced Gold Pin ECC83S is located in closest to the power tubes and the Gold Pin EF806 is the second tube away from the input jack.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
