Bad Cat Cub III 15R Standard Retube Kit

Looking to warm up your Cub III 15R? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Cub III 15R Heads and Combo Amps. It uses five ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter, an EF806 to replace the EF86 in V1 and a GZ34 rectifier tube. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The Balanced ECC83S is located in closest to the power tubes and the EF806 is closest to the input jack.

If your amp is the combo version and you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings for the two power tubes and the EF806. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
