Looking to warm up your Alley Cat? This is our Standard Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Alley Cat Amps. It uses two ECC83S's and default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

These amps do not use a long tail phase inverter circuit so the preamp tubes can go in either position.

If you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings for the two power tubes. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
