Bad Cat Alley Cat ECC803S V1 Option

Do you like FAT mids and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Alley Cat Amps. It uses a Long Plate ECC803S for V1 and an ECC83S for V2. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ EL84's. With the Customize option you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL844's which will drop the power output a couple decibels (ideal for players wanting decreased headroom/output).

The ECC803S is located in V1 closest to the input jack.

If you play by yourself in a quiet environment you may want to consider using our EuroDamper rings for the two power tubes. These are available under the "Related Products" tab and will greatly decrease tube rattle.

These amps are cathode bias so both the EL84's and EL844's are plug and play.
