These amps are adjustable bias. If you use the HK shunt method all that's necessary is a Multimeter. A more accurate and far easier method is to use one of our octal bias probes with a Multimeter, or our all-in-one octal "Pro One" bias probes (which reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously). 6L6GC's should bias up to between 34 to 40 mA per tube.
The JJ 5881's are a 23 watt tube and should bias up to between 31 to 36 mA per tube.
