Looking for a vintage vibe with FAT mids and a real sparkle? This is the ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Hughes & Kettner Switchblade 50 watt Combo. It uses a Long Plate ECC803S for V1 along with a current balanced ECC83S for the phase inverter in V2. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ Electronic E34L’s but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button.

The Balanced ECC83S is located farthest from the input jack in V2.

The newer amps with the "TSC" circuit are auto bias which works pretty well so all tubes listed are plug and play.

Amps without the "TSC" circuit are adjustable bias and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a Multimeter and a bias probe, or our all-in-one octal "Pro One" bias probes (which reads plate voltage and plate current simultaneously). These are available under the "Related Products" tab.
