Want a really rich and smooth tone with less grit? This is our Gold Pin Option Retube Kit for the Fender Ramparte Combo Amp. It uses two Gold Pin ECC83S's for the front end and the default power tube is a single JJ 6L6GC, however you can configure this kit to use a JJ 5881 by clicking on the "Customize" button!

All 6L6GC Combo amp Retube Kits are shipped with the Eurotubes Double Mica 6L6GC’s at no extra charge. JJ Electronic started building us a proprietary version of their 6L6GC (the 6L6GC-DM) in 2005 with extra layers of mica. This reinforces the plate structure and all but eliminates tube rattle symptoms. For all other tubes such as the 5881's our EuroDamper tube damper rings.

These amps are cathode bias so the 6L6GC and 5881 tubes are plug and play.
