Bad Cat Hot Cat 50 ECC803S V1 Option

Product Details

Do you like FAT mids and some extra high end sparkle? This is our ECC803S V1 Option Retube Kit for the Bad Cat Hot Cat 50 Amps. It uses a Long Plate ECC803S for V1 along with four ECC83S's with one being current balanced for the phase inverter. The default power tubes are a matched pair of the JJ Electronic E34L's but you can configure this kit to use the JJ EL34II's, EL34’s, KT77’s or Big Bottle 6CA7’s by clicking on the "Customize" button!

The Balanced ECC83S is located in closest to the power tubes and the ECC803S is located in V1 closest to the input jack.

These are all adjustable bias amps and all you need to check and adjust the bias is a bias probe and a Multimeter, or our all-in-one Eurotubes "Pro One" bias probe that reads both the plate current and the plate voltage simultaneously. You can find all these under the Related Products Tab.

You can use the "Generic Bias Video" we made using a Marshall 800 for reference.
